Deadline for applications: 1 October 2015
Notifications: 10 October 2015
Why you should apply
Becoming a student volunteer for IASDR2015 is a great opportunity to meet other students and well-known international researchers. You will see the latest in design research and have fun while learning about running an international conference. Connections made during student volunteering can be the first important connections you make in a research career.
You will also receive free registration to the IASDR2015 conference (including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea and a copy of the proceedings).
Note: We do not cover travel expenses to and from the conference or accommodation costs.
What we expect
Student volunteers have three main duties:
- Support setting up presentations, posters, exhibition and workshops
- Assist on the main registration and information desk
- Assist during presentation sessions
- Attend an orientation session on the afternoon of the 1st of November.
Student volunteers will be reliable and motivated to support the smooth running of the conference. To qualify as a student volunteer, you must be studying Design or a related discipline at the Undergraduate, Masters or PhD level at the time of the conference and have good fluency in English. No previous experience is required.
